If you are into all things Automotive this is the place for you.
The Automobile museum is right in town with plenty of parking even if you're in a motorhome so you can take your time, spend an entire morning, afternoon or even Day in the museum then pop out for a meal or coffee in town.
I have to admit that we both adore the classic cars and spent a lot of time wandering about trying to take it all in. The pictures are in no particular order, I'm afraid I went a bit snap happy in there.
We seriously spent a good couple of hours here, the place was huge and with so much inside to look at....
We spent a bit longer in Birdwood than we intended to in the beginning but it was such a delightful town and the museum was absolutely worth the visit.
They even had a very cool Lego car in the entryway.
